Only complaint - a week is too short. Stayed in Los Dias for a week in late August 2010 with my wife and two children and had a really enjoyable stay. The villa was exactly as described, had all of the conveniences we needed, was very clean and made our holiday very enjoyable. The pool is a decent size, the outside gas bbq was fab and the property was in a very nice quiet secluded area. Some mosquitoes (to be expected along the coast of Spain) but just keeping the front door closed in the evenings ensured that all of the bedrooms were 'squito free (as the window blinds did their job). A car is essential, and a GPS is recommended (helped us get from the Airport to the villa late at night without any problems). Supermarket is literally 1.2km down the hill, and further supermarket choices are just a mile or two further down the road towards Moraira. If you are a runner/walker/jogger, you can run up to the Cumbre del So where it is hot and hilly but the views make it worthwhile. In summary, a great holiday, and would love to stay in Los Dias again.

We last visited the property in 2007. It was pleasing to find that the surrounding area is still as quiet as it was then.
There are approximately 25 steps down to the accommodation which has rooms of good size. The bedrooms have large wardrobes with plenty of hangers supplied and plenty of drawer space The en-suite bathroom is well fitted and there is also a separate shower room. The kitchen has a good range of appliances, crockery, glasses and cutlery.
The garden has some nice shrubs and trees and attracts quite a few birds - especially to the bird bath that can be seen whilst you are sitting on the naya. A terrace of good size surrounds the pool and there are plenty of sunbeds available. The outside kitchen has a gas BBQ and a fridge and there are several sets of tables and chairs. A car is essential - especially as you need to climb a steep hill in order to access the property. The nearest supermarket is at the bottom of this hill and Moaira is about 10 minutes away by car. There is a nice sandy beach here and an attractive marina which is overlooked by bars and restaurants. We enjoyed meals in La Luna, The Olive Tree and Options all of which are in the main town area of Moraira not at the marina.
We were provided with contact details in case we required any assistance whilst staying in the Villa. Alison was very helpful and friendly on the odd occasions when we needed to contact her. We also found the Pool Attendant very friendly and poite - he calls twice a week and speaks good English.
Before we flew out to Spain, Hazel provided helpful information about the Vila and how to find it.
We hope to re-visit again in the future because we enjoy the peace and tranquility that the property offers.

We had a fantastic time here. The villa had everything we needed and the welcome pack was greatly appreciated when we arrived and all the shops were shut (Sat eve). The pool was large and clean and our children 11 and 8 spent lots of time with their inflatables in the pool.
The beach was just a short ride by car away and the supermarket was just down the road. We would go back to this villa and recommend the villa to friends.

We have been very pleased with our stay at the villa and enjoyed its beautiful location, its peaceful surroundings, the comfort of the house and above all the pleasures of the swimming pool!

Los Dias is a really lovely villa. You feel very private but without being totally isolated. The description was accurate, and in fact we felt that the villa and the location were even better than we had expected. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the pool and the outdoor living area is fantastic. I can see why people might say it is suitable for two couples, but we also found it great for a small family. The pool is a great size and the short drive down the valley to the beach at El Portet was a real bonus. Unlike many villas, there was everything we needed to produce great food from the local produce. We spent some wonderful evenings on the naya watching night fall over the valley and, on one occasion, watching the most amazing thunder storm work its way up the valley towards us from the sea (needless to say, the sun was dutifully shining again in the morning!). We were also very impressed with the area - we'd never been before and it is much prettier and greener than we had imagined. The local people were extremely friendly and obviously take a great pride in their area. Finally, a word about Lemon Tree Villas - the whole experience has been great, with quick and helpful responses from Hazel to even the strangest questions. The ideal combination: friendly and efficient. We had a really wonderful holiday at Los Dias and hope we will be able to return.

A Great Getaway. We have never been to the same place on holiday more than once before until we stayed at Los Dias in 2007. We have never had a more relaxed holiday in such a beautiful location and going for a second time this year did not disappoint. The accommodation is situated amongst the hills a few miles from Moraira and, although there are other villas nearby, Los Dias is quite secluded. The villa itself is clean and well looked after as is the pool and outside cooking area. The steps down to the villa from the road may make it unsuitable for disabled or elderly people but otherwise this only adds to the seclusion and quietness of the accommodation. The local people are friendly and helpful and the supermarkets nearby are reasonably priced. The kids will enjoy looking out for the ghekos that come out at night and adults will appreciate the peace and quiet that the location offers. Moraira is situated about an hour from Benidorm in the south and also Valencia in the north and takes about 1.5 hours on the motorway from Alicante airport. There is only one thing wrong with Los Dias - it's not ours!!!!!!!!
